What’s your favorite Japanese food? | COMMON QUESTIONS FROM JAPANESE PEOPLE

This is a common question I get, mostly from children.  I have tried many Japanese foods over the years.  There are a lot of interesting and delicious foods.  I love tempura, chawan-mushi, katsu-don, gyoza and many others.  But for me, it’s Nabe-mono.  Mmmm.  Shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, mizutaki, chanko.  Oh yeah!!  Nabe on a cold winter evening is the best!!  But then again, spring, summer or fall are all fine, too.  It doesn’t matter  – nabe-mono anytime!!
